This unusual loft of exceptional volumes has many architectural features, such as skylights, sloped ceilings, exposed trusses, IPN beams and dormers. The split of this beautiful loft into 2 high end apartments had to respect the existing balance between contemporary and countryside.

Our concept was to create two aesthetically distinct units, while offering all the amenities that are expected for high end apartments, such as a master suite (large bedroom, walk-in closet or large closet space and an ensuite), kitchen with island, an office, a laundry room and an entrance with closet and storage.

The Bright apartment was designed around the 100 sm plateau with traversing light. A custom verriere, with its soft, yet assertive curves, brings the light from the kitchen to the stair landing and helps defining the spaces. The kitchen and its large island occupies the space in a linearity that pays homage to the natural beauty of the original room. The dining and living room carry on the theme of curves and organic shapes. Hardwood flooring and cement tiles are used for their authenticity and their timelessness. A soft, powdery palette, from rosy beige to terracotta, characterizes the atmosphere of this flat.

In the Atypical Flat, we deliberately emphasized the unconventional architecture. The contemporary, minimalist color palette underlines the singularity of each room with touches of Klein blue.

A bedroom + ensuite was transformed into a kitchen, benefiting from the skylight above. This island incorporates a banquette seating, to create a dining area. A few steps down the living area, a cosy family room invites you to sit down and relax.
