For the renovation of this large apartment with no character, in the heart of town, we worked with a palette of soft, warm colors and noble materials.

As art lovers, our clients gave us carte blanche to create a refined, sober and chic interior that would also showcase their superb collections of objects and paintings.

Custom millwork plays an important role in the aesthetic approach to this project. Our approach was to revisit the great classic such as china cabinets, sideboards and bookcases, with a contemporary twist. Cabinet handles and bases were designed by us and custom made by skilled craftsmen. The millwork was subtlety highlighted by some LED backlighting.

By using the same caramel oak stain flooring throughout the space, we connected all the spaces. The kitchen has been designed around a bistro-style seating area framed by 2 banks of cabinets.

The 2 existing Bedrooms were combined to create one Master Bedroom with a large Walk-in Closet, despite the limited space. The Master Bedroom, Walk-in Closet and Bathroom floor is covered with a silky wool carpet that adds a touch of sophistication and softness.

This precious, elegant cocoon invites you to relax, like a timeless interlude.
